FDM Group

Everyone at FDM Group had a 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘦𝘭𝘺 good time raising money during their Changing Faces Spinathon challenge 🚴  Across all their UK locations, they organised a fundraising event in support of their charity partner, Changing Faces, which focuses on ending appearance-related discrimination. Together they cycled for 4,000 km (that’s as far as cycling from 🇬🇧 London to 🇬🇷 Corfu and back!) and raised over £2,500!  A few 𝘵𝘪𝘳𝘦-𝘥 legs later but they did it! 🦵

Pedalling for Pubs

This was a fantastic event where an enormous amount of money was raised.  Pedalling for Pubs 2022 saw 26 riders from across hospitality ride 335km across Jordan battling desert terrain and riding through hail, rain, strong winds and desert sun. At the same time as 27 hospitality professionals do the real, epic bike ride over 335km of desert and mountain terrain in just four days, others in the UK all working in pubs, bars, restaurants, breweries and offices, formed teams to cycle 4,891km, the distance from London to Jordan, either on a static bike in the workplace, or outdoors.  “We wanted to mirror the efforts of the cyclists in Jordan – and it’s a great initiative to strengthen teamwork and do good at the same time, says Tom Aikens, Michelin-starred chef and restauranteur.  “It’s very simple to participate - borrow a static bike or two, and set them up in the workplace, wherever is practical, and cycle as many miles as you can over the week with colleagues to help us get to Jordan. Outdoor bike rides can be an alternative or a mix of formats can work too."
