Original Element – Web Design and Processes Taken Care Of
Hire Fitness and Original Element joined forces in 2016 when we first met Chris Langton, founder and Managing Director of Original Element. We were looking to upgrade our website that had been in existence for around 5 years and as part of the upgrade, we needed some expert advice to help us implement changes that would encourage an increase in our online conversions. We were looking for someone we could trust to advise us every step of the way and allow our website to move and evolve with the times.
We researched web development companies in our local area but we could not find anyone we felt would work well with us. Having looked a little further afield, we came across Chris and Original Element, based in Wales. We’d hoped to find a more local company so we could have regular face to face meetings if needed without having to travel too far, but we decided to give Chris a call.
The first meeting took place at our (old) Head Office in Slough. We discussed the project in depth and expressed our requirements and Chris quickly began putting forward fresh ideas on how to build the best website with a suite of ecommerce functionality and bespoke elements dedicated to our unique type of business.
That was 4 years ago and we’re still working together as a great team. Last year, the guys at Original Element completed a new project for us to help us become more compliant and environmentally friendly by reducing the need for paper hire contracts. They developed a bespoke esigning system, with each franchise having their own access to create hire contracts for customers in their region. Customers are now able to esign the hire contract prior to delivery of their fitness equipment and the process works well. Original Element has recently completed an enhancement to this system, by incorporating the esigning system with our web order process to automate elements of this procedure. The project was quickly spec’ed in consultation with ourselves and their development team worked on a postcode filtering system meaning that web orders are now sent directly to the franchise that operates in that region, rather than having to be processed via Head Office first. In addition, draft contracts are automatically created within the esigning system for review and onward transmission to the customer. This whole enhancement was produced in a matter of weeks and we have been extremely pleased with the continued service and professionalism we receive from Original Element.
